Great writeup again Alicia! I felt a strong connection to the thoughts you shared. The idea of a "divine spark," while not a phrase I usually use, perfectly captures that inner voice that quietly nudges us forward. It’s such a powerful reminder of how small we are in the vastness of the universe, yet how much we are guided by something deep and meaningful inside us. It’s not about the label but about tuning in and letting that inner wisdom lead us to a truer version of ourselves. That’s where everything starts to click, doesn’t it?
Your choice of the word GROW feels so alive. I love how you’ve broken it down into something actionable, turning it into a way of living with intention. It’s inspiring to think of growth not as a big leap but as a steady, ongoing process - small steps that open us up to new possibilities. It’s a beautiful reminder that growth is more about the journey than the end goal, and it’s something I’ll be holding onto as I reflect on my own path.
What really hit home for me was the part about life meeting us where we are. It’s so true that every experience, whether easy or hard, has something to teach us if we stay open to it. The way you described challenges as sacred teachers feels so freeing as it shifts the perspective from frustration to curiosity. Life as you said isn’t a straight road. Rather, it’s more like a winding trail that loops back on itself, always with something new to discover. I love how you captured that feeling of growing and evolving, even in the messy, imperfect moments.
Thank you again for writing this. It definitely reminds us to slow down and appreciate not just the big wins but also the small, quiet moments where we’re just figuring things out. A great perspective that we want to carry forward.
Wasmin, it is such an honor to have you read my stuff. Thank you from the depths of my heart. Your words have me rejoicing and really taking in everything I write even deeper. I really appreciate your reflections, so much!
I can understand that. It is such a natural human response and what is behind the belief of that natural response? This is something I am really allowing in myself, do it just for your pleasure, for the joy, for the experience, and then surrender in what ever happens.
Awww this was so so beautiful woman! And grow! What a fantastic direction ❤️
As others have said...I think all of us are coming towards the same truth even though we've travelled through varied paths! Which is so crazy and mind boggling to me! There's only one truth which is our soul's. And the point becomes to listen, trust and honour it whatever way possible isn't it?
Inspired by the post I'm planning to go on a 30 min walk now haha!
Thank you for your gift of GROW and the the heart behind it. Like @Wasim, I may use slightly different terms but the core ideas are essential truths described in many different ways by different teachers and traditions. Some of us develop our own understandings and descriptions but we are all truly connecting to the same idea. This gift is being presented to me at the perfect time and I know I need to listen because it makes me want to cry. The type of tears that come up when overwhelming emotion wells up in your chest. The type of emotion that is not really definable and thus spills over into regulating tears. I'm not sure if it's fear of finally being able to become my own person or the excitement of doing the same. I just know that these words can guide me in the next steps of the spiral learning journey I've been on for the last couple of years. Like you I find myself constantly revisiting similar ideas and issues and then growing a little bit more.
Thank you all your words. And yes we all have our own words and ways it makes sense to us. I honor that in everyone, whatever helps you know you are wonderful and have a purpose to be here, which is just simply being. Let the tears fall it is healing medicine let it flow. Thank you for sharing your words this means so much to me.
I love this. I feel like this very thing is something I’ve been re-learning over the past 2 years. Slowing down, enjoying the process, and trusting the divine path. I’m celebrating how I’ve been able to do this and really focus on not just working all the time, but taking time to rest, enjoy, play, and be present too. Thanks for sharing this, and can’t wait to hear more on your word this year!
Thank you for reading and sharing! I feel there are many of us committed to a slow and trusting life. Thank you for being this energy in a society that encourages the opposite, or at least it feels that way. I am celebrating you and these successes also!!
This was so beautifully said. I love what you said about being the “architect of your own joy”. This year, I’ve taken more time to set my goals and figure out what daily practices and mindfulness routines will help me get there. It’s a good reminder to make sure you’re doing things for you and not for other people. It’s okay to do things differently if it feels right in this season!

Thank you for writing these articles. I do like them very much!
That's something I have to work on, releasing attachments to the outcome.

Thank you for reading and sharing this thought!

Right. Back. At. You! Here’s to slower living! … and more writing 🥂
Beautiful. Such a great reminder of going your pace and disregarding at what speed the world around thinks they have to go.
